Two Keystone College students recently performed at the 68th annual Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Honors Band Festival at Bloomsburg University. Featuring more than 30 colleges and universities, this year marked the first time Keystone has participated in the Festival.

Keystone freshman Peter Horger, Tunkhannock, performed on the trumpet and received third place honors. Keystone freshman Tim Nawrocki, Tunkhannock, played the flute and earned first chair.Keystone’s Department of Instrumental Music was introduced in the fall of 2014 and features multiple performing groups: a symphonic band, a jazz ensemble, chamber ensembles, a jazz combo, and a pep band for athletic contests.
