For the eighth consecutive year, Keystone College has been ranked as one of the nation’s best colleges in U.S. News & World Report.

Keystone finished in the top tier, ranked 38th overall, in the “Regional Colleges/North” category, an improvement of five places from last year’s ranking.

In other key rankings in the magazine’s annual “Best Colleges” edition, the magazine reported that 80 percent of Keystone’s classes have less than 20 students, the third-best ranking of all schools in the Regional Colleges/North category. Keystone was tied for ninth in the Regional Colleges/North category with an 11:1 student to faculty ratio. Keystone also ranked 13th in its category as one of the “Best Colleges for Veterans.”

“We are extremely proud to once again be included in U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation’s best colleges,” said Keystone College President Dr. David L. Coppola. “The ranking is a tribute to the dedication and hard work of our students, faculty, and staff. We are especially proud of our top rankings for small class sizes and student/faculty ratio, which demonstrates our ongoing commitment to providing individual attention and guidance to every Keystone student. Finally, we are honored to be listed as one of the Best Colleges for Veterans. We take particular pride in helping our nation’s veterans receive a quality college education as they move forward with their careers and their lives.”

In addition to the U.S. News & World Report rankings, Keystone has also achieved national prominence in several other publications. The college has been ranked as one of the nation’s top schools for commitment to the environment by the Princeton Review and Sierra Magazine and as one of the best schools in the nation for soldiers and veterans by G.I. Jobs magazine and Advanced Military Education magazine. Keystone has been listed in the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.
