Keystone College visual arts major Sara Cortazar was recognized during the Leadership Reception as Student Leader of the Year for the 2013-2014 academic year. Ms. Cortazar, a senior from Carbondale, Pa., has been a member of the Art Society for three years and most recently served as vice president of the club. She received the Silver Ethics Award while playing soccer at Keystone 2011-2012 and is a gallery assistant and teaching assistant for four professors in the School of Fine Arts.

Recognized by a staff or faculty member of the college, student leader nominees must be in good social and academic standing with the college, exceed expectations as a student leader, and be involved in at least one extracurricular college organization, club or sport.
