- Weekender Program
Weekender was established in 1975 for adult students wishing to pursue a degree while maintaining work, family, and social responsibilities.
Utilizing a trimester format, Weekender classes begin in August or September, January, and May. Students may begin during any trimester, and classes are held on eight weekends throughout each trimester.
Classes are offered in three locations, our main campus in La Plume, the Towanda Center, and the Delaware Valley Center.
Program Format
- Classes are held on eight weekends, every second or third weekend throughout each four-month trimester.
- Three terms are offered each year beginning in August or September, January, and May.
- Students may, but are not required to, attend all three trimesters.
- Weekender courses encompass a minimum of six hours of classroom instruction per Weekender session.
- Classes are scheduled from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon.
- Students at any of the three Weekender locations may supplement their choice of courses by taking a mix of classes at the La Plume Campus in the weekender, traditional day, evening schedules, or online (pending course availability).
