TAA and WIA
The Federal Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program and Workforce Investment Act (WIA) are occupational training programs funded by federal and state agencies for dislocated workers who have lost their jobs. The goal of these assistance programs is to help the unemployed find a new position in a field that offers promising career opportunities.
