Briggs, Margaret Foundation Scholarship

The Margaret Briggs Foundation Scholarship fund was established by the Margaret Briggs Foundation and is given annually to incoming first-year students from Lackawanna County or one of the surrounding counties. The scholarship is renewable to sophomores who maintain satisfactory academic standing.

2012-2013 Recipients

• Aaren Adams - a Freshman from Scranton, PA., majoring in Accounting.
• Kaitlyn Garvey -a Junior from Dunmore, PA., majoring in Art Education.
• Matthew Lewis - a Sophomore from Dalton, PA., majoring in Business.
• Samantha Vetri - a Sophomore from Montrose, PA., majoring in Early Childhood Education.
