Student Leader of the Month



Student Leader of the Year 2011-2012

The Office of Student Activities has recognized Natalie Wentz as Student Leader of the Year for 2011-2012. Natalie was selected from the list of Student Leaders of the Month from the 2011-2012 academic year and was recognized during the Leadership Reception. Natalie received a stipend and certificate.

"Natalie is an immense help in the Student Success Center with a number of projects. From creating flyers to running errands, to academic issues and concerns for other students, to sharing information with students who visit the Center, Natalie is always ready to help. She also provides valuable technical assistance with Blackboard, Moodle, and KC Connect."

Student Activities has created a new initiative to recognize student leaders who go above and beyond. At the end of each month, a Student Leader of the Month will be selected by the Office of Student Activities. This selection will be based upon online nominations received from Staff and Faculty.

To be selected as a student leader of the month the student must:

Winners

Each Student Leader of the Month will receive a certificate and be recognized through college publications such as KC Morning E-Notes. At the end of the academic year, the Office of Student Activities will recognize a Student Leader of the Year. This student will be selected from the list of Student Leaders of the Month from that academic year. This student will be recognized during the Leadership Reception and will receive a stipend and certificate.
