Are you a commuter student who has comments, concerns, or suggestions about your Keystone College experience? Whether you're a commuter student looking to have your voice heard or someone simply looking for a fun club to join, commuter council is open to all commuter students.
Our meetings are held every Thursday in the Commuter Lounge @ Patrick Hall from 12:30-2:00. Some of the activities and events that are geared toward our commuter population include the following held once a month:
Commuter Cocoa Cafe - Once a month you can grab a free hot chocolate and muffins/brownies on your way to class in the morning.
Commuter Night Out - Here's your chance to get some free food and network with others. We select a different location each month and have provided items such as wings to, at times, full meals, for those in attendance.
Commuter Topic Luncheons - Here is an event on campus where we provide the lunch and the guests, you just provide your appetite. Join us to hear about subjects that you suggest. Topics in the past have included "Credit Cards, are they really a great option" and "Rights & Responsibilities now that I am a Keystone student". This month, the topic will be on your school health insurance plan. You don't want to miss out on this invaluable information.
Don't forget to check out our bulletin board located inbetween the first and second floors of the Hibbard Campus Center for other upcoming events and to grab the latest newsletter!
