KCEEI Featured Film: GMO OMG, by Jeremy Seifert

September 17, 2015 -- 7:00PM - 9:00PM

Location: Fireplace Lounge

KCEEI presents: Food, Farms & Community Environmental Film Series, A thought provoking film series with facilitated discussion.

Filmmaker and concerned father Jeremy Seifert is in search of answers about genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and how they affect our children, the health of our planet, and the freedom of choice.  His journey takes him to Haiti, Paris, Norway and even the front door of agri-giant Monsanto, the largest provider of GMOs in the Unites States, as he poses perhaps the ultimate question about what we eat:  is it still possible to reject our current food system or have we already lost something we can’t get back? Winner of the Best Documentary, Berkshire International Film Fest; Audience Choice, Yale Environmental Film Fest; Audience Choice Vision/Voices 2014.

Cost:  Free.  Donations to support the showing of future environmental films are always welcome.
