- Online Tutoring
If you need help with a writing assignment, but can't get to campus, try Online tutoring! It was created as a convenient way to offer support and guidance for those students that need help with their writing, but can't meet with a tutor in person. If you would like to try tutoring online you can do one of two things:
-
Online Tutor - via email
To tutor via email, submit your paper along with the on-line request form. When you click the submit button, you will be prompted by your email client to submit the request.
Make certain you do not forget to attach the paper!
-
Chat with a Tutor
To receive direct chat tutoring you must first submit a request for an appointment.
Keystone College uses Blackboard technology for the online tutoring needs. After you set up an appointment to chat directly with an online tutor, click "Chat with a Tutor" to begin your session.
Writing Resources
Also available to all of our students are the same writing resources you would find in an on-campus writing lab, including citing resources, dictionaries, and grammar guides.
Leave Feedback
Have you completed a chat session with an online tutor and/or received feedback on a writing assignment? Click "Leave Feedback," fill out the form, and click submit at the bottom of the form. Your responses are anonymous and cannot be seen by the online tutor. Thank you for providing us with honest feedback!
On-Campus Tutoring
If you need assistance with an assignment other than writing, or you would like to meet face-to-face with a tutor, the Tutoring office coordinates requests for academic help from students by offering regular stop-in hours and providing hours by appointment with peer and professional tutors.
