Consistent with the mission of Keystone College, The Department of Campus Safety and its officers provide a just and educationally sound program of law enforcement that receives community support and is responsive to the interests of all members of the College Community, regardless of age, ethnicity, sex, color, handicap, and national or sexual orientation. It assures an orderly preservation of the ideals of scholarship and the protection of academic freedom. Supporting a policy that provides for a minimum of administrative enforcement and a maximum of student and community self-regulation will offer the student and the community the best possible education as members of the Keystone College community. The Department of Campus Safety is the official Keystone College authority for reporting incidents, investigating alleged infractions of College policy or Pennsylvania law, and acquiring information concerning crime prevention, safety, and physical security.

24 Hour Campus Escort Service
The Department of Campus Safety provides a walking escort service to students, faculty, staff or guests of Keystone College who may feel uncomfortable walking alone on campus at certain times or certain hours. The Department of Public Safety can also provide driving escorts under certain medical or emergency conditions, where a walking escort would not be practical. We provide this service to the campus community twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week free of charge. This service is provided as part of our philosophy of community policing, and we strongly encourage all members of the campus community to take advantage of this service.
