What can happen if I have a car on campus without a permit?
Any vehicle parked on Keystone College property without being registered and displaying a permit may be ticketed, booted and/or towed at owner’s expense.
What will happen if I park on College Ave, Factoryville Boro/College Rd LaPlume Twp?
College Ave, Factoryville Boro/College Rd, LaPlume Twp is not a designated parking area. In addition, parking on College Ave/Rd within the confines of the College presents a safety hazard and therefore is not permitted. Vehicles will be ticketed, booted and or towed. Fines incurred for parking on College Ave. /Rd. is not subject to appeal.
What should I do if I have to replace my permit?
If you lose your permit there will be a $5.00 charge for a new one. Students who purchase a new car should register the new vehicle information at the Campus Safety Office informing them of the new vehicle to avoid a charge for a new permit.
What if I can not find a parking spot near my dorm or office?
The responsibility for finding a legal space rests with the motor vehicle operator. Inability to locate a convenient spot is not an excuse for violating College parking regulations and will not be subject to appeal.
When are the College parking regulations enforced?
College parking rules, regulations and enforcement are in effect all year, including periods when classes are not in session as well as weekends.
If my vehicle has been booted how do I have it removed?
Bring the receipt for payment of the fine to Campus Safety to arrange the removal of the boot from your vehicle.
I have two vehicles should I register both of them?
Parking permits are registered and issued to individuals. Permits are made of cling material and may be transferred by the registrant to any vehicle the registrant is parking on campus.
