Freshman Orientation

A Two Part Program

All incoming freshman students are expected to participate in our Freshman Orientation Program, designed to help you navigate our beautiful campus, learn about social and academic resources and programs, receive academic advice, meet new people and begin to make connections.

The Freshman Orientation Program at Keystone College consists of two parts – Summer Orientation Day and Orientation Weekend. Part 1: Summer Orientation is coordinated by the Office of Admissions and occurs on two different days in July and August, students choose one day to attend.  Part 2: Orientation Weekend is coordinated by Student Affairs, and occurs in August right after move-in.

An Introduction to Keystone

Part one of the New Student Orientation Program is designed to introduce new students to the vital information they need to begin classes. Attendance is required for all incoming students that have been accepted to Keystone College.

Part two of the New Student Orientation Program, Orientation Weekend, will help you get acquainted with our beautiful campus, meet other new students, and  learn about programs and initiatives that will help you succeed socially and academically.

Saturday night enjoy a RailRiders game.

Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders

A professional minor league baseball team based in Moosic, Pennsylvania in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area. The team plays in Northern Division of the International League and is the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Yankees Major League Baseball club. The team plays at PNC Field (formerly Lackawanna County Stadium), their home since 1989.

We’ll provide the transportation and dinner.
