National Philanthropy Day is the special day set aside to recognize and pay tribute to the great contributions that philanthropy -- and those people active in the philanthropic community -- have made to our lives, our communities and our world. Celebrations are held annually in many states across the nation.

- Spare Your Change to Make a Change
All Day; Giants’ Grill and Student Restaurant
Here’s your chance to be philanthropic and help make a change at Keystone! Loose pennies and nickels filling up your pockets? Throw them in the piggy banks located inside the Giants’ Grill and Student Restaurant to help support the 2013 Senior Class Gift. - Free Hot Cocoa and Candy Bars
10 - 11 a.m., Gazebo on the Green
Receive a free hot cocoa and a candy bar while learning how the philanthropic spirit of Keystone’s alumni and friends positively affects our campus.

Think you know Keystone inside and out? Teams of two can sign up to take part in a scavenger hunt around campus for the chance to win two $50 VISA gift cards (donated by Keystone’s Cabinet members.) Decorate a turkey feather and tell us what you are most thankful for at Keystone. You will also have the chance to sign the memory book for President Boehm and First Lady Regina as they complete their final year at Keystone College. - Lend a Helping Hand at the St. Joseph’s Center

Philanthropy isn’t only about giving financial means, but it is also about giving back to the community. Help provide a fun day of games and laughter to children and adults with special needs. Get in the “giving” spirit and enjoy a Thanksgiving themed dinner at the Student Restaurant.

*Faculty and staff can be found wearing orange buttons. These buttons signify that they are proud, philanthropic supporters of Keystone’s annual fund.
