Keystone to host nationally recognized alcohol awareness speaker

La Plume – Jim Matthews, a nationally recognized alcohol awareness speaker, will visit
Presented by Keystone’s Concerts and Lectures Series, the event is free and open to the public. Combining lecture with multi-media graphics and video, the program provides critical information about college drinking in an entertaining and non-judgmental manner.
Mr. Matthews has delivered his presentation to over 400,000 students at 400 college campuses nationwide. He has appeared on ABC, CNN, and NBC Radio and has been featured in many magazine and newspaper articles.
Currently serving as the coordinator of health education at
Mr. Matthews is the author of “Beer, Booze and Books: A Sober Look at Higher Education,” The ABCs of College Drinking: 25 Tips for Navigating the Collegiate Party Scene,” and “The Parents Guide to College Drinking: Facing the Challenge Together.”
