Keystone begins 2012-2013 academic year with largest full-time enrollment in school history

Total enrollment includes 1,780 full-time and part-time students, approximately the same as 2011. Included in the total enrollment are 360 freshmen, a four percent increase over last year and the largest freshman class since 2007, and 125 transfer students.

More than 500 students will live on campus. Popular majors for incoming students include the sciences and environmental resource management, especially in Keystone’s specialized alternative energy concentration. The College’s business program also remains a popular major.
Freshmen resident students arrived on campus on Wednesday, August 22 to move into their respective residence halls. There is music, hot dogs, and refreshments as part of a “Welcome to Keystone” celebration. The College's signature Compass Overnight Adventure Program will take place Thursday, August 23 through Saturday, August 25 at various locations on and off campus. Classes in Keystone’s Weekender Program begin Friday, August 24, and classes for traditional students begin August 27.
