Keystone student receives national award

La Plume – Keystone College student Robert Griffin, Jr. has received the Undergraduate Student of the Year Award from the Association for Student Conduct Administration (ASCA).

The prestigious award, presented recently during the ASCA annual conference in St. Pete Beach, Fla., honors Robert for his accomplishments as a student conduct leader. He was nominated for the award by Ken Lastowka, Keystone assistant director of residence life and coordinator of student conduct.

Robert, a senior criminal justice major from Washington, N.J., served as a student resident assistant in the Frear-Reynolds residence hall on campus. He was recently promoted to Interim Area Coordinator, a residence life supervisory position, for his final semester at Keystone. Robert, who began his career as a resident assistant during his sophomore year, plans on pursuing a career as a state police officer.
