Red Tails

La Plume – Keystone College is honoring members of the famed World War II Tuskegee Airmen by displaying a photo of a “Red Tail” fighter plane. The photo, which will be on display in the college’s Miller Library, was donated to Keystone by Tuskegee Airman Dr. Roscoe C. Brown, Jr. and depicts the plane he flew in combat.

A frequent visitor to Keystone, Dr. Brown has an endowed scholarship named in his honor at Keystone. He recently served as a consultant to the movie “Red Tails” about the Tuskegee Airmen, a courageous group of African-American fighter pilots.
