La Plume – Keystone College recently added two new faculty members to its Division of Business, Management and Technology. Attorney Brian Petula and Abdul-Aziz Bahha, Ph.D., joined the Keystone faculty at the beginning of the 2012 spring semester.

Brian PetulaAttorney Petula will teach management, leadership, marketing, and law at Keystone. He has extensive experience in entrepreneurship and international business.

Prior to joining the Keystone faculty, Attorney Petula served as assistant professor of business at Marywood University. He was also interim CEO and co-founder of Future Connect, Inc., a Scranton-based online educational company.

He has an extensive background in co-founding and developing start-up companies, including Captive Customer Inc, and Digital Work, Inc., both based in Chicago. He served as publisher and partner of Entrepreneur Publications, Inc. and director of planning and business development at  Farr Associates, Inc., both based in Greensboro, N.C. He also served as vice president of the Whitley Group, Charlotte, N.C.  

A native and current resident of Factoryville, Attorney Petula has a bachelor’s degree in government from Lehigh University and a juris doctor/master of business administration degree from Wake Forest University.Abdul-Aziz Bahha

Dr. Bahha will teach introductory and advanced programming, networking, and system analysis and design. He has a specialty in software engineering and information systems.

Prior to joining the Keystone faculty, Dr. Bahha served as an associate professor, teaching computer science, information systems, and mathematics at  colleges and universities in Texas, Colorado, and New Hampshire. In addition to his teaching experience, Dr. Bahha has over 10 years experience in the computer science industry, both domestically and internationally.

A native of Saudi Arabia and current resident of Scranton, Dr. Bahha has an associate degree from Jeddah Technical College, Saudi Arabia; an associate and bachelor’s degree from DeVry University; a master’s degree from Keller University, Irving, Tex.; and a doctoral degree from Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Tex.
