The Sleeping Bag Project

In celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, a group of Keystone College students recently delivered sleeping bags to three New York City homeless shelters. About 25 Keystone students assembled the sleeping bags from recycled fabrics in conjunction with the Hop Bottom, Pa.-based My Brother's Keeper Quilt Group and its “Sleeping Bag Project.” Gathering in New York City, from left are: Megan Mancuso and Diane Starkey, Keystone students; Lucas Taylor, Keystone assistant director of student activities; Megan Fry and Cecelia Blue, Keystone students; Flo Wheatley, The Sleeping Bag Project founder; and Brittany Goren, Keystone student.
