Keystone to Participate in Sustainability Day

The day represents a time to focus and reflect on the success of the sustainability movement in higher education and help educational institutions learn from each other as they continue to innovate and improve sustainability programs and practices.
As part of the day’s activities, the Keystone Ecology Club, along with the college’s Sustainability Committee, will conduct a “Caught Green Handed” environmental awareness campaign throughout the day. If a member of the college’s Green Team “catches” a member of the Keystone community doing something positive for the environment, (recycling, using reusable lunch take-out containers, refilling a reusable water bottle, carpooling, etc.), the environmentally responsible person will receive a prize for making an ecologically friendly choice.
