La Plume – For the fifth consecutive year, Keystone College has been ranked as one of the nation’s best colleges in U.S. News and World Report.

Keystone finished in the top tier, ranked 34th in the North in the magazine’s Regional Colleges category. The rankings are a definite upgrade for Keystone, which finished 44th last year. The listing is part of the magazine’s Best Colleges edition published each fall.

U.S. News and World report categorizes regional colleges as those that “focus almost entirely on the undergraduate experience and offer a broad range of programs in the liberal arts.” A select group of schools included in the category were grouped according to regions of the country (North, South, Midwest, and West).

“We are honored to have Keystone College listed in U.S. News and World Report as one of the nation’s best college’s for the fifth consecutive year,” said Keystone College President Dr. Edward G. Boehm Jr. “The ranking is a tribute to the dedication and ongoing accomplishments of our students, faculty and staff.”

In addition to the U.S. News and World Report rankings, Keystone has also achieved national prominence in several other publications. It has been ranked as one of the nation’s top schools for commitment to the environment by the Princeton Review and as one of the best schools in the nation for soldiers and veterans by G.I. Jobs magazine and Advanced Military Education magazine. Keystone was named a College of Distinction by Student Horizons, Inc., a national company which provides important information about higher education to high school students and their parents.
