Sleeping Bag Project

La Plume - Members of the campus community volunteered their time as part of the Day of Service Project in celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Presented in partnership with My Brother’s Keeper Quilt Group and its Sleeping Bag Project, volunteers assembled sleeping bags from recycled fabrics. Following the day-long event, the sleeping bags were distributed free of charge to local individuals and organizations. Pictured, from left are: Keystone students Amanda Nehem, Katelyn Osborne and Jackie Crozier and volunteer Jesus Herrera.

Watch WNEP and WBRE segments on the project.
