La Plume, Pa. Keystone College recently hosted the seventh annual Monsignor McGowan Cornerstone Awards Program in the Theatre in Brooks.

The yearly event honors the memory of beloved clergyman Monsignor Andrew J. McGowan, well known throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania for his outstanding community leadership and support of education. The Cornerstone Awards continue his legacy by recognizing students and community leaders who reflect his spirit, leadership, and service. Dorrance and Susan Belin, Waverly, received the 2013 Cornerstone Award for their community leadership. Honorary co-chairs for the event were John and Pat Atkins.

Scholarship Recipients
