Keystone to welcome Jeff Mitchell to present Hiking the Endless Mountains
La Plume –- In celebration of Earth Day, the Keystone College Concerts and Lectures Series will present a multimedia presentation and lecture, “Hiking the Endless Mountains,” by Jeff Mitchell on Tuesday, April 22 at 7 p.m. in Evans Hall, Hibbard Campus Center. The event is free and the public is invited to attend.
Audience members will see highlights of Mr. Mitchell’s hiking experiences, including photos of mountain and stream panoramas, seldom seen flora and fauna, and waterfalls.
Mr. Mitchell is the author of “Hiking the EndlessMountains,” “Backpacking Pennsylvania,” “Hiking the AlleghenyNational Forest,” and “Paddling Pennsylvania.” Next year, he will publish his book, “Backpacking New York.” Mr. Mitchell is also a board member of the Keystone Trails Association, a former board member of the Countryside Conservancy, and currently serves as the Wyoming County District Attorney.
