Financial expert Cheree Warrick to visit Keystone College
La Plume – The Keystone College Concerts and Lectures Series will welcome national speaker and author Cheree Warrick for “Creating Business Plans that Actually Get Financed” on Monday, September 23 at 7 p.m. in Brooks Theatre. The presentation, free and open to the public, will explain how start-up or small businesses can raise capital.
Ms. Warrick is a popular speaker known for her financial knowledge and personable style. The author of a popular business column in The Washington Business Journal, Cheree is the author of the book “Creating Business Plans that Actually Get Financed.” She wrote the book for business owners to use as a handbook for creating business plans that banks, angel investors, and venture capitalists actually put money into.
Her strategies have been praised by many angel investors and commercial bankers including Barbara Corcoran of the hit TV show “Shark Tank” and Valerie Gaydos, founder of the Angel Venture Forum.
During the presentation, participants will learn surprising statistics about how much money is available for their projects; the six parts to an investable business plan, the biggest mistakes entrepreneurs make when writing their business plans; why banks and angel investors say no to some great business ideas and how to give a great 60 second pitch.
