Keystone College will host its ninth annual Forensic Science Symposium on Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Theatre in Brooks.
The symposium will feature workshops and lectures on forensic science topics including forensic photography, fingerprint identification, crime scene investigation, and forensic evidence law.
Several law enforcement and forensic experts will present including M. Dawn Watkins from thePalm BeachGardens, Fla. police department and King Brown from theWest Palm Beach, Fla. police department. Other noted speakers include Attorney John Drawec, assistant professor at WesternNew EnglandUniversity, and Andrew Taravella, a police officer from theHoustonForensicScienceCenter. Several Keystone students will demonstrate their forensic science expertise, including presentations on bone histology and the environmental effects on differential decomposition.
