Robert Booth
Chasing His Dream at ESPN
Major: Communication Arts and Humanities
Class: 2009
Since graduating from Keystone in 2009, Robert has been making his living as a programming digital media associate at ESPN in “I absolutely love my job. It’s just where I want to be,” Robert said. “I work a lot of long hours, but the environment here at ESPN is wonderful.” Robert believes the skills he developed while a communications major at Keystone were key factors in helping him land the job at ESPN, despite some extremely tough competition.
“As my capstone project, I designed my own web site and created my own sports network, if you will. I did weekly sports shows and posted them on the site. I think that really impressed the people at ESPN and that’s one of the reasons they hired me.”
The Throop,
“Without a great faculty, I would not have been able to discover what I’m passionate about. I’m following my interests, working in a field that I love, and chasing my dream. You can’t ask for much more than that.”
