Class: 2006
What year did you graduate from
I graduated from Keystone in May of 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Child and Society and a Minor in Psychology.
What kind of work and/or educational pursuits are you engaged in currently?
I am currently working as a Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS) for Children’s Behavioral Health Services. I am also in the process of completing my Master’s Degree in May of 2011 for Secondary School Counseling at the
What experience (a class, an assignment, club, etc.) was among the most useful/rewarding for you while you were at
The class I most enjoyed at Keystone was Adolescent Psychology. This class made me more aware of my career path, and also gave me insight into the adolescent mind. I also enjoyed Psychopathology and Psychology of Trauma.
Though you weren’t a psychology major, what advice would you give to current students who are majoring in psychology and who might be interested in a career/job such as yours?
Plan for the future. Figure out early on if you want to go to Graduate school or not. Even if you don’t plan on furthering your education know that the Psychology/Counseling field requires you to be a life long learner.
