Genova Holt

Major: Social Science

Class: 2013

Genova Holt has great expectations for herself and she is proud to build her future at Keystone College.

After graduating, Genova is looking forward to joining the Peace Corps where she hopes to “help people all around the world.” The education she is receiving at Keystone will help her pursue her dream.

“The size of our school creates a personal experience and the faculty and staff are wonderful. I was surprised to learn how diverse our campus is and how accepting everyone is. My favorite thing to do is to talk to people and learn about different cultures and ways of thinking

Genova, a social sciences major from Columbia, Md., spends much of her time assisting her Keystone classmates as an officer in the Key Choices Club, a student organization which promotes making healthy and safe decisions.

“Being a part of the Key Choices Club has made me feel one step closer to my goals in life. We are a club that educates our peers on making the right choices in life and finding common ground between having fun and living healthy.”

In addition to the Key Choices Club, Genova is also involved with the Keystone Ecology Club and its efforts to promote a more sustainable environment. No matter what activity she undertakes, Genova believes that Keystone is a great place to spend her college years.
