Kaitlyn Schott

Major: Communication Arts and Humanities

Class: 2014

As a communications major, Kaitlyn Schott is learning how to express herself creatively, clearly, and concisely. She does exactly that when describing how she feels about Keystone College.

“I picked Keystone because it wasn’t too far away from home, but just far enough. I really like the fact that classes are smaller. I think you receive a better education when the teachers know their students’ names and capabilities. I love the atmosphere on campus. I find it really easy to concentrate on my work and for some reason, I feel more creative on campus. Perhaps, it’s because I become inspired by all the beautiful artwork in the Miller Library!”

A senior from Pleasant Mount, Pa., Kaitlyn is active in The Keystone Players theater group and WCKC, the student radio station.

While she’s learning a great deal in her classes,  Kaitlyn’s education doesn’t stop there.

“I learn about responsibility and independence living in my residence hall and I better myself intellectually through my work. I also think I’m growing intellectually through the friends I’ve gained.”
