2009 Hall of Fame Inductee
He helped continue a legacy of successful mat-men under legendary coach Larry Fornicola.
Kametz accomplished his national title in 1973 while competing in the 142-pound weight class. That same year en route to national prominence, he also captured the NJCAA Region XIX crown.
During the 1972-73 season Kametz compiled a mark of 23-4, which included defeating the nation's top ranked wrestler in that weight class. Over his two year career at Keystone Kametz put together a match record of 42-6, including 18 pins.
Following graduation from Keystone Kametz continued his athletic and academic careers at Franklin & Marshall College. He represented the Diplomats at the 1975 EIWA Championships, advancing to the quarterfinals as the eight seed in the 150 lb. weight class.
