In addition to the voting rights presentation, members of the Keystone community will participate in a Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service to benefit victims of Hurricane Sandy. Students will assemble sleeping bags from recycled fabrics in partnership with the Hop Bottom-based My Brother’s Keeper Quilt Group and its “Sleeping Bag Project” from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Theatre in Brooks. Once completed, the sleeping bags will be donated to Hurricane Sandy victims on the East Coast.
