Keystone participates in Snowflakes for Sandy Hook

La Plume – As most people struggle to come to grips with the recent tragedy in Newtown, Conn., members of the Keystone College community are hoping to bring some normalcy to the lives of the surviving children of Sandy Hook Elementary School by participating in the Snowflakes for Sandy Hook initiative.

Launched by the Connecticut Parent Teacher Association, individuals are asked to create snowflakes to decorate the walls of the new school that Sandy Hook students will attend in Monroe, Conn. The goal is to have students welcomed back by a winter wonderland with the entire school decorated by snowflakes.
