Invasive plants have the ability to out-compete and out-reproduce native plants and threaten bio-diversity. This hands-on course consists of both classroom and field instruction that provides an overview of invasive and exotic species. Topics include invasive plant identification; how and why they invade; their impact on habitat, ecological functions, and aquatic ecosystems; and effective control methods.
