Lessons from Everest: Picking up Trash at the Top of the World!

Date: September 16, 2014
Time: 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM

One of America's most accomplished mountain climbers, Brent Bishop first reached the summit of Everest in 1994, then again in 2002 with the National Geographic Expedition that marked the 50th anniversary of the first ascent of the mountain.

Brent co-founded the Sagarmatha (the Nepalese name for Mt. Everest) Environmental Expedition, which is responsible for the removal of more than 25,000 pounds of trash from the mountain.  Brent's presentation will draw upon an exquisite body of mountain images while focusing on the importance of vision, goal setting, leadership and teamwork to reach one's goals.
