Description:
Keystone's sport and recreation management program will welcome Tyler Tumminia, senior vice president with the Goldklang Group, a minor league baseball ownership consortium that currently owns/manages five ballclubs in various markets throughout the U.S. for a lecture in Evans Hall. The lecture is free and the public is invited to attend.

Ms. Tumminia is responsible for the marketing and broad scale sponsorship, operations, and communication efforts at the Goldklang Group. She developed the Group's award winning marketing philosophy, "Be Your Own Fan," in response to current market trends and industry analysis. She is also responsible for the largest group-wide partnership with a major brand the  largest singular themed promotional event in the Group's history.

This past year Ms. Tumminia spoke at the SINC Conference in Washington, D.C. giving an in-depth look at the challenges of operating five minor league teams while providing behind the scenes insight into the marketing goals, sponsorship, operations and communication efforts for the Goldklang Group.

A sought after speaker on college campuses, she has spoken at the University of New Haven, St. Thomas University, SUNY Fredonia, University of Florida, Indiana University, University of San Diego, University of Michigan, University of Massachusetts Amherst, Minnesota State University, New York University, and Columbia University.
