Description:
This course will engage participants to understand the natural trends in climate change over geologic history; investigate the parameters and assumptions involved in climate prediction; explore alternative energy sources such as wind, solar and nuclear; natural gas opportunities and issues in the region; learn about electric vehicle technology; and outline sustainability practices that can be used in your schools. Field experiences will include site visits to the following facilities: wind turbine, Proctor & Gamble and a natural gas well drill site.

This is a week long course with the Keystone College Environmental Education Institute.
