What prompted you/your organization to establish and/or support a Keystone College scholarship?
“Having known Ned Boehm before he became president of Keystone College and admiring his leadership ability, I decided to make a gift to establish a scholarship in my husband’s memory because education and culinary art were paramount to him.”
What would you tell others to inspire them to establish a scholarship?
“You receive the joy of giving and living when you give scholarships to students who cannot afford college. Their successes are your rewards. Give while you live so you can see how you change students’ futures and what good you are doing!”
What advice would you give to current and future scholarship recipients in regard to their educational pursuits?
“The power of positive thinking can take you far. Attitude is 95% of the game. There will be detours, but get back on track, cope with it and reach for the stars – you can do it!”
