Major: Liberal Arts

Most memorable Keystone moment:
I can still remember my first semester, sitting in class in amazement that I was attending college. It was a great feeling. I grew up on a farm and didn’t think I would ever realize this dream. It actually would not have been possible without the Weekender program.

What are you doing now?
Administrative Director/Guidance Director, Susquehanna County Career & Technology Center in addition to owning one personal care home and owning and administering another personal care home.

I am also involved in the following organizations:

Most interesting life experience:
As I have experienced a very full and satisfying life, I developed an increasing appreciation of my parents who had a great attitude and a can-do spirit and always supported any of my desires and dreams. I truly believe this provided a great advantage in life and was the most valuable gift I could receive.

Family: Husband, Ray and four sons, Charlie, Frank, Marty, and Gavin.

What do you hope to be doing in the future?
I hope to continue in my role here at the Susquehanna County Career & Technology Center, working with youth and adult learners. I get great satisfaction with these opportunities to make a difference in the lives of these high school students and adult learners. Eventually, I would like to use this knowledge and experience at the college level.

Message to the students of today:
Don’t give up on any dream you have and remember everyone has their own timetable to accomplish their goals. Don’t be afraid to ask for help along the way. My personal favorite motto is “Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much”.
