Scholarship support is vital in helping our students transform their dream of a college education into a reality.
Many deserving students do not have the ability to pay for a college education. Keystone strives to keep the cost of education as affordable as possible, yet a college education still remains out of reach to many students. Even with public financial aid, 90% of our students rely on scholarship assistance.
Your gift is a tangible symbol of your belief in the students of Keystone College. Not only does your gift make a direct impact on our students' ability to achieve their academic goals, your belief in our students encourages them to do their best, further extending the impact of your gift to make a lasting personal impression on our students.
- Each academic year, over 200 students receive approximately $375,000 in donor-funded scholarship assistance.
- Thanks to the generosity of donors, the College currently offers nearly 150 donor-funded scholarships to students.
- Since the introduction of the College's donor-funded scholarship program in 1996, more than $5 million in scholarship funding has been awarded to over 3,000 worthy Keystone College students.
Establishing a Scholarship
Endowed scholarships can be created with a gift of $15,000 or more with an option to extend payments over several years, and can serve as a lasting tribute in memory or in honor of an individual, or can begin a lasting family legacy. Based on President Coppola's initiative to grow the College's endowment, the minimum level to endow a scholarship will increase from $15,000 to $20,000 for the 2015-2016 academic year.
Annual scholarships can begin with a gift of $1,500 or more, and may also be named in memory or in honor of an individual, or can begin a lasting family legacy.
