- Grant Partnerships
Keystone College's Office of Grant Support builds and stewards beneficial relationships with government, foundation and corporate partners that support common goals through project specific funding.
Grant funding is an integral component of the College's overall Institutional Advancement strategies. It provides important financial resources for curricular development, research, scholarships, state-of-the-art equipment, facility upgrades and community engagement and other initiatives. Grants can also play a significant role in helping to supplement specific operational costs and creating opportunities for new projects that complement Keystone's mission.
Growth
As the College continues to grow, it is important that Keystone secure funding from a broad spectrum of public and private sources that support our strategic plans and align with our long-term vision.
The Office of Grant Support assists the College in pursuit of funding through the following activities:
- Facilitates a culture of active grant seeking by engaging faculty, staff and administrators in identifying and prioritizing key funding needs, and connecting these to potential public and private funding partners;
- Identifies, cultivates and solicits foundation, corporate and other private funding sources that have capacity to make gifts which match Keystone's needs;
- Works with local, state and federal government entities to secure resources that bring benefit to the College, its students and the surrounding communities.
- Facilitates creation of funding proposals that match funder interest, reflect College priority, are responsive to funder requirements and are submitted in a timely and professional manner;
- Monitors trends in grant giving to develop strategies that are responsive to changes that can impact philanthropic support;
- Facilitates timely submission of all required grants reports;
- Coordinates stewardship by assuring ongoing communication and responsiveness to funder requests; and develops and sustains relationships that are productive, long-lasting and mutually beneficial.
Many private and public funders have demonstrated their commitment to helping Keystone achieve its educational goals through the award of financial resources. Keystone values this philanthropic support and the confidence and trust that it represents.
