Veterans of Armed Services
Keystone College is dedicated to serving our student veterans and dependents of veterans. If you have served in the armed forces or are a dependent of someone who has served our country, we are eager to give our support.
Support for Veterans
The Veterans Educational Transition and Support program was established to help you transition successfully into the college classroom. We have designated individuals to help you navigate the college process in specific offices on campus including Admissions, Student Business Services, Financial Aid, Disabilities, Student Life, Campus Safety, and Career Development.
Center for Veterans
Keystone College has established the Elmer R. Hawk Center for Veterans, located in Alumni Hall, as a welcoming place for our Veterans and Armed Forces Club members to meet up with one another and study. The Center for Veterans has private computer space, opportunities for scheduled counseling services, information for important on- and off-campus resources, a lounge, kitchen and more.
In order to serve and support our veteran-students, we have provided a list of resources and links for additional information and services.
Veteran Registration Preference Policy
Honorably discharged veterans have been granted priority registration by Keystone College. This means registering for upcoming terms beginning on the Friday before students who have achieved senior standing. Veterans may schedule classes ahead of students who have not achieved senior standing, but once general registration begins, you will compete for class spaces along with all other students allowed to register at that time.
