SURE

Summer Undergraduate Research Experience The Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program is an experiential program where high school students can actively participate in current scientific research that is mentored by college faculty members and their research assistants. The incorporation of cutting-edge scientific technology will be emphasized throughout the duration of the program. Students will learn and implement proper techniques based on the project requirements.

This is an 8 week, intensive program requiring approximately 30 hours per week that will include both laboratory and library research components. Students will be provided with a four hour safety training session along with a two hour library research techniques seminar. The students will also receive a refresher seminar on using Excel for graphing.
