Sociology (minor)

A minor consists of a minimum of 18 credits in a particular discipline and requires one 1000-level course and two 3000- and/or 4000-level courses. The remainder may be chosen from current discipline course offerings at any level and are determined by the student and academic advisor.

  • SOCI 1110 – Introduction to Cultural Anthropology

Choose two of the following:

  • ANTH 1110 – Introduction to Cultural Anthropology
  • SOCI 2120 – Social Problems
  • SOCI 2125 – The Family

Choose two of the following:

  • GEOG 3110 – Cultural Geography
  • SOCI 3110 – Sociology of Diversity
  • SOCI 3120 – Social Deviance

Any other SOCI or ANTH course
