About the Program


Teaching: Mathematics Education (7-12)

The Bachelor of Science Bachelor of Science degree in Teaching: Mathematics Education Program is organized to foster the development of skilled mathematics teachers who can utilize best practices for planning and preparing environments and instruction in secondary classrooms.

Students who become certified math teachers are self-directed individuals who can communicate effectively, make informed decisions, think critically and creatively, and examine ethical issues in order to improve the quality of school experiences for children in grades seven through twelve.
