About the Program


Teaching: Social Studies Education (7-12)

The Bachelor of Science degree in Teaching: Social Studies Education (7-12) prepares students to teach Social Studies in grades 7 through 12. The degree provides a strong foundation in the social sciences, focusing on diverse cultural and pedagogical issues.

All secondary certification students work with an education division advisor and a content area advisor.
