This bachelor of science degree program in Teaching Art Education prepares students for Pennsylvania certification to teach children in kindergarten through twelfth grade in public and private school, or to continue their studies at the graduate level.
Building on Keystone's strong visual art program, students pursuing the art education program will be prepared to engage in instructional planning and preparation, establish classroom environments, demonstrate instructional strategies, demonstrate effective classroom adaptations for children with special needs, and demonstrate professionalism as educators and artists.
