The Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education prepares students for Pennsylvania certification to teach in the public schools and to work with young children (newborn-eight years) in a variety of settings including Child & Family Studies or Education.

Graduate Success - Keystone’s Early Childhood Education graduates have found teaching positions in Pennsylvania and throughout the nation. Locally, Keystonians are teaching in the Abington Heights School District, Bradford County Daycare, Cuddle Time Day Care, Dunmore School District, Helping Hands Learning Center, Hour Place Daycare, Karing for Kids, Lackawanna Trail School District, Magic Years, Mountain View School District, NEIU #19, Precious Ones Daycare, Scranton School District, The Learning Center, Wayne County Head Start and the YMCA. Nationally, graduates have been employed as teachers in Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, and South Carolina, to name but a few of the states employing recent graduates.
In addition, Early Childhood Education graduates have also pursued graduate degrees at East Stroudsburg University, Marywood University, University of Maryland, and Wilkes University.

Keystone College asserts that within six months after graduating from Keystone and fulfilling the requirements of the Career Development Center, you will have received at least one job offer, or where appropriate, be accepted into a transfer or graduate program. In the event this does not occur, we will provide you with additional courses and career counseling at no additional charge.
