Careers & Alumni
Graduates of the Environmental Biology program will be grounded in the fundamentals of natural science and prepared to enter graduate programs in fields such as biology (ecology & evolution, genetics, etc.), environmental science, public health, medicine or public policy. Students will also be prepared for careers in fields such as public policy, conservation, science education, and public health.
Environmental Biology Graduate Success - Students who successfully complete all requirements in the two year program of Environmental Studies, Forestry/Resource Management or Landscape Architecture degree programs will have guaranteed acceptance at State University of New York-Syracuse to obtain a bachelor's degree. Graduates have enrolled in other degree programs as well, including the University of Maine - Forestry, Wildlife Ecology.
Keystone College graduates have secure positions with the following companies/agencies: Bureau of State Parks, Ducks Unlimited, Earhtbox, Inc., Garden Path, Inc., New Jersey State Parks, PA American Water Company, PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Pennsylvania Game Commission, Quantum Analytical & Environmental Laboratories, Sullivan County Conservation District, USDA Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Validation Technologies, Inc., YSM Landscape Architects, pollution abatement companies, and consultation firms.

Keystone College asserts that within six months after graduating from Keystone and fulfilling the requirements of the Career Development Center, you will have received at least one job offer, or where appropriate, be accepted into a transfer or graduate program. In the event this does not occur, we will provide you with additional courses and career counseling at no additional charge.
